At Sony's State of Play presentation, first-party studio Team Asobi revealed Astro Bot's next adventure, simply titled Astro Bot. Astro Bot follows in the footsteps of Astro's Playroom, the delightful platformer that came pre-installed on the PS5.
Time to dust off that PS5. One of the most exciting moments in last night's State of Play presentation was the reveal of Astro Bot, a brand new platformer from Team Asobi.
Astro Bot will be released exclusively for the PS5 on September 6, 2024. Pre-orders will open for the title soon.
Astro Bot is the name of the cutesy robots big new game, and this time it's a full-length excursion rather than a tech demo. The character, Astro Bot, first appeared in the 2018 PlayStation game Astro Bot Rescue Mission. He's since become a fan favorite, and we're excited to see him star in his own game.
